Judes Day
Today is Judes day. At 9:01am it was one year since I delivered him. This past week has been tough. I have caught myself numerous times thinking about all of the horrors that last year held for us, it is still so fresh in my mind. I wonder how we got through it?
I don't know if I believe that everything happens for a reason, I use to. Now I hope that I can learn from what life throws my way. Jude taught me to be thankful. Thankful for little things, thankful for everything. Today is Judes day.

Blissfully, Exhausted
We are coming up on the end of Matts two weeks off, and I have to say that I will be sad not to have him around as much. He has done an amazing job of taking care of Corbin and Myself.
Today Corbin had his first bath, Matt has been super excited to get him in the water. I am very happy to say that Corbin does really enjoy the water. I can't wait to take him swimming this summer. For the past month or so every time we went to a store with swimming pools I had to look to see which one we "needed."
Matts birthday is Friday and unfortunately Corbins "pruning" appointment is also that day. "Pruning" was Grandma Kelli's word for it. I think it sounds so much better than circumcision so that is how I will refer to it also.

Corbin James Kurt Koch
I have to say I think the Mini should get the award for the worse car ever to be in labor in. Normal I love the stiff suspension, hopping down the road and taking corners way to quick but as for a comfy ride, wow it sucks! The 45 minute trip to my midwifes house consised of me saying things like "slow down...PLEASE" while I was having a contraction and "Go through the light," " go quicker go quicker", "I don't care if we get pulled over" and my personal favorite "You have another gear USE IT" while I was not having a contraction. Yes I know, poor Matt...I don't know what I would do without him.
We got to my midwifes a little after 3 to find another baby being born there. Thankfully she has 2 rooms.... to be continued (new mommy is sleepy)
